Multifak EP 2 Grease


Texaco Multifak EP 2 Grease

If you need a heavy duty, extreme pressure general lubricating grease that is highly water resistant—look no further than Texaco Multifak EP 2.

From boat trailer wheel bearings to high temperature disc brake bearing applications—it delivers outstanding protection. And for good reason: it is manufactured using highly refined, select high viscosity index base oils, and a lithium complex soap. It has a dark green color with a smooth and buttery texture.

  • Formulated to protect bearings and other metal surfaces from corrosion when exposed to wet conditions.
  • Heavy-duty resistance to water allows it to strongly resist being washed out of bearings.
  • Constistent under adverse service conditions.
  • Provides outstanding film strength and adhesive properties. As a result, Texaco Provides low wear in shock load service.
  • Operates effectively over a wide temperature range.

Applications:

Texaco Multifak EP 2 grease is recommended for general use in the lubrication of trucks, tractors, and passenger cars. This includes ball joints, universal joints and all other chassis points. It’s ideal for fifth wheels, wheel bearings and water pumps. Plus, it meets the performance requirements for the NLGI Certification Mark LB.

Grades:

  • Texaco Multifak EP greases are available in three grades:
  • NLGI 0, 1 for better pumpability at low ambient temperatures
  • NLGI 2 for use in normal ambient temperatures
